(November 13, 2006)—HeJian Technology held a donation ceremony at the Education Committee of Chongqing today. This 200,000-yuan grant will help build the "HeJian Hope Primary School" in Yunyang County, with the purpose of improving the quality of education for children in poverty-stricken area. The ceremony marked the beginning of Education Program, which aids the poor by promoting education.

Songtao, Assistant to the President, entrusted by HeJian's President Hsu, attended the ceremony and signed an agreement with the Education Committee of Yunyang County that HeJian will help to raise the educational level there. HeJian Scholarship was also set up to benefit the outstanding, but financial inferior students in the way providing them with financial assistance. Mr. Song spoke at the ceremony, "We will pay more attention to help the poor in education. Apart from more charity schools, there are also volunteers, both from HeJian and universities, who will teach in our charity schools."

HeJian regarded social responsibility as its soft competitiveness even the strategic objective of development. It is said that social responsibility will benefit the companies that take on more of it in the long run.
