HE JIAN TECHNOLOGY (SUZHOU) CO., LTD.
SUCCESSFULLY CLOSED USD110 MILLION TERM LOAN FACILITY
September 6, 2005, He Jian Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. ("He Jian") has successfully closed the 5-year USD110 million Term Loan Facility (the "Facility"). ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited / Citibank N.A., Shanghai Branch were the Mandated Lead Arrangers. Proceeds from the Facility will be used to finance He Jian's expansion of an 8" wafer fab plant and related procurement of equipment and machinery in Suzhou.
General syndication has closed with a 45% oversubscription and a total of 9 international and local banks have joined the Mandated Lead Arrangers. Given the overwhelming response, He Jian has decided to increase the facility amount to USD110 million from the original USD100 million, a sell down of over 80% for the Mandated Lead Arrangers. The successful completion of the transaction reflects the banking community's positive view and confidence in He Jian.
