An earthquake of 8 magnitude struck Wenchuan County in Sichuan on 12th, May, 2008,which leaded to over ten thousand dead toll that day. Learning about the startling news, HeJian staff launched a spontaneous donation immediately to assist the residents in quake-stricken area. The amount of donation had been over 240,000 up to 19th May. Moreover, HeJian had also made an appropriation with amount of 300,000 instantly and donated the 100,000 expense which was scheduled for "Family Day" on mid-June after acquiring staff's permission. Currently, the contribution of 640,476 has been remitted to Red Cross Society of China directionally through Suzhou Charity Federation, which will be spent on getting through the disaster. HeJian will pay close attention to the conditions in earthquake-stricken area, and will contribute much more funds to the quake reconstruction.
