(Jun, 24th,2008) -- HeJian Technology (Suzhou) Co, Ltd., China first-class foundry service provider, today announced the new IC production start with its long-term strategic partner, Epson using 0.15um high-voltage process technology.

The two companies have entered into the partnership of 0.25um High-Voltage process development in April 2005 that was successfully in production and gained high appraisal from the customers. This success paved the basis for mutual further cooperation. The continuation after quarter micron, HeJian and Epson re-joined to 0.15um High-Voltage process setup in year 2007. After one-year diligence, the process moved into production and achieved another new landmark between both partners.

At present, the utilization of HV process takes half of our customer portfolio, therefore, the support for advanced high-voltage technology is an important role among our analog semiconductor manufacturing business", said Jerry Chang, vice president of HeJian. Epson has been acting an important partner for HeJian on High-Voltage process for period, and such relationship will remain unchanged in the future."

In this strategic cooperation, Epson transferred some of its 0.15um Hi-Voltage process modules from its Sakata fab and HeJian implemented the production line with integrated modules at its Suzhou plant. The process was successfully released to production in January 2008 and started to deliver shipment to its valuable customers since Mar 2008.

With the strategic partnership, HeJian will support fab capacity for Epson Hi-voltage products and enhance process capability in parallel. Furthermore, HeJian will co-work with Epson to provide other customers this process to expand customer base and maximize process utilization. Moving forward, HeJian and Epson will get closer in both partnership and business relationship, to win the market competition.
